Admission for International Students

Nirwana Academy extends a warm welcome to all International Students. The information pertaining to admission procedure for international students can be found in this section.

Nirwana College students are from several countries across the world.

Procedure for International Student Admission

All international students are required to hold a valid student pass during their course of study in Malaysia.  Your student pass is what allows you to stay in Malaysia and study at Nirwana.


STEP A - REGISTRATION / BEFORE ARRIVAL

Step 1:
Documents are  required for registration are:

- Completed application form
- 3 sets photocopies of passport – all pages. Passport must have more than one year validity.
- 3 copies of academic qualification / transcript / certificate (certified true copy and translated into English, if required)
- 6 passport-sized photos (3.5cm X 5.0 cm)
- Health Examination Report
- Release letter, academic transcript / certificate and attendance report from previous institution (for students transferring   from other institutions in Malaysia)
- RM application fee

Step 2:
An acceptance letter will be issued after Windfield has received your  application and payment (1-2 days).

Step 3:

Windfield will submit your  application to Malaysia Immigration in order to process the student pass. The process will take about approximately 4-6 weeks (*depends on processing time by Immigration Department).

Step 4:
A notification will be sent to you. There are 2 outcomes:
  • If application approved: an approval letter will be couriered to student. You are  required to apply for an entry visa from Malaysian Embassy in their country (if necessary).
  • If application rejected: Your application fee shall be refunded after a deduction of RM administrative charges.
You can only enter Malaysia after your student pass is approved and you have received the approval letter from the Malaysian Immigration Department.
Step 5:
Once you have obtained your student pass approval letter, do check with your local immigration department or embassy whether a visa is required to enter Malaysia.
