A-Level (Arts)


The A-Level is internationally recognised as an entry requirement into undergraduate courses in universities, polytechnics and colleges worldwide. If you intend to pursue a higher education in countries such as the United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, India, Hong Kong, Singapore or Malaysia, the A-Level programme is a necessity. In addition to the entry into the universities in the Commonwealth countries, certain local universities accept the A-Level examination for various degree courses. The local universities are:

  2. University Tenaga Malaysia
  3. University Technology Malaysia
  4. University Sains Malaysia
  5. University Telekom Malaysia

  • Entry Requirements:

  • 3 Credits in SPM or 3 passes in O-Level. A student who does not posses the said entry requirements may be accepted if the Programme Coordinator or Assistant Programme Coordinator is satisfied that he/she has the ability to complete the programme.
  • Note: Students who are waiting for their results may register by providing a certified copy of their forecast examination results.

  • The Cambridge A-Levels provides a suitable foundation programme for students intending to pursue a legal or business degree. It is a well recognised pre-tertiary qualifica¬tion accepted by all British and Australian universities.
  • Examination is conducted in June and November yearly at Nirwana College. Students may select to sit for either examination. Intakes for the courses are available in January, March, May/June and august/September yearly.
