Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP)


The Legal Profession Qualifying Board constituted under Part II of the Legal Profession Act 1976 conducts the CLP examination in July every year. The prestigious 'CLP' designation is a pre-requisite qualification to practice law in Malaysia. A highly demanding but practical course, the subjects include Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure Code, Professional Practice, Evidence and the General Paper. The Course at Niwana College, under the leadership of Mr. Ravi Nekoo, a qualified Advocate, Solicitor and experienced lecturer who now take great pleasure in introducing this course to you.

Successful students will be entitled to use the letters' CLP' at the end of their names.
